"I have been boarding my dogs at Kacey Cooper’s kennel for fourteen or fifteen years. The thing that impressed me the first time I entered the kennel and every time thereafter was how clean it was. The cleanliness is not only in the common areas but also inside each dog’s pen. The pens are of varying sizes and even the smallest size is very comfortable for my large breed dogs. There are different fenced yard areas where the dogs can exercise and play. Kacey is so attuned to the animals that she can determine which dogs can be put in the yards together, increasing their play time and exercise. Kacey herself is obviously a dog lover and has a great amount of knowledge of both their physical and behavioral characteristics. Her staff is consistent, conscientious and caring for the animals. I know that my animals are safe at her kennel and that they are loved, petted, spoken to and generally provided as good of a second home as possible in my absence. And, in the off chance that a pet needs medical attention, I know absolutely that Kacey will respond immediately. I emphatically recommend Cooper’s Wounded Bear Kennel to anyone who loves their pet and wants the best care possible for them!"

"Jim and I first began taking our dogs to Cooper's Wounded Bear about 25 years ago. Over the years the Wounded Bear staff has been very professional while providing a structured and loving environment for our animals. We have peace of mind that our pets will receive individualized personal care while there and we will also get great support and advice regarding their health and training concerns. Upon arrival our dogs become excited and anxious to join their friends. It is comforting to know they are happy while we are away and we never give a second thought as to their safety. Not only are we customers at Wounded Bear, we consider Kacey and her staff to be our friends. "We moved to the Peninsula in July 2000. In 2001 we were looking for a kennel to board our lab Harley. We asked around and heard good things about Cooper’s Wounded Bear Farms & Kennel. Kacey and her crew have done a wonderful job over the years. Harley never knew another kennel and didn’t need to… as soon as we’d say, “Do you want to go to Cooper’s?” he’d get all excited; barking like crazy. Unfortunately for Kacey, he liked to bark. A lot. Just ask her! Although Harley’s no longer with us, our lab Karma continues to be boarded there. Karma was a rescue dog (we were her fifth home by the time she was eight months old). Despite the fact that she was anxious and terribly jealous of other dogs, Kacey experimented with different play groups; taking the time to figure out what worked for her. Now when she’s boarded there, she runs around with a group of other dogs… something we wouldn’t have thought possible when we adopted her. To say we are satisfied is an understatement. Thanks Kacey!"

"I work on a rotation and I've been taking my 2 Pals to Wounded Bear Kennels for the last 13 years. Kacey Cooper has helped me with training when they were puppies and now takes great care of Max and Chrissy as they are getting older. My buddies are always excited to go to "camp" and they are always happy, healthy & in good spirits when I come home from work. I have recommended Wounded Bear to all my friends & everyone that has asked about pet care. Kaycee is always highly spoken of at every veterinary office in the area and her medical insights seem to be listened too by the local vets. No other kennel around can match the care & professionalism I've seen at Wounded Bear. I Highly recommend Wounded Bear to take care of your best friends."

"I have been taking my dogs to Cooper's Wounded Bear Farms & Kennel for the past twenty years. I wouldn't consider taking them to another kennel. I know when I leave my dogs, they are in good hands and will be well taken care of. When I take them to the kennel they are always excited to be back. Making appointments and arranging to bring or pick up the dogs is easy. Kacey, Nicole, and Shelby will try and work around your schedule if possible. The kennel staff is always professional & friendly. They all work hard to keep the kennel clean and neat. They are great with the animals and try to make them feel comfortable & meet their needs while away from home. Medication is always given as needed which is so important. The inside kennels are roomy with heated floors. Their are different outdoor areas where your dog can be with other dogs or by themselves. They are rotated in and out several times of day, depending on weather conditions. I would strongly recommend Cooper's Wounded Bear Farms & Kennel because I know your animal will be well taken care while you are away. Ours have always been."
